A little about Cover-Ups...
I specialize in creating meaningful cover-up tattoos that not only hide old ink but also blend beautifully with your body’s natural features. Whether you're looking to cover scars, previous tattoos, or anything else, I believe in crafting designs that reflect your vision while achieving the best possible results.

The Cover-Up Process: What to Expect:
Cover-up tattoos are an art form that requires careful consideration of many factors, including scar tissue, dark pigments, and existing line work from your old tattoo. Every idea is welcome, but not every design may be the perfect fit for a cover-up. I’ll always be honest and guide you through choosing the best options that balance your vision with what works technically.

During your first session, I’ll layout your new design using a stencil or by free-handing, where I draw directly onto your skin with pens to ensure the best fit. Depending on how you're feeling, we might get all the black work done on the first day, including lines and shading. If your tattoo feels dark at this stage, don’t worry—this is just the foundation. Depending on how dark the old tattoo is, we might need more black work or less!

Understanding the Process:
The first session’s progress depends on factors like swelling, especially if we’re working over previously damaged tissue. For your next session, we’ll dive into shading and color, bringing your new tattoo to life.
While I always aim to fully cover your old tattoo, certain designs or sizes may leave small remnants visible. I'll walk you through every step, so you feel confident and informed throughout the process.

I document each stage of my cover-ups with photos, so you’ll know what to expect by viewing the slides below, please note that I'm still finding and adding pictures in case any are missing :)
